Planning your footsteps
As the pedometer records and reports your moves, you can set goals. There are various methods.
- Walk around a block near your home or wherever you are. Check the number of steps. Then walk in a bigger circle. Or, go back and forth to a nice spot further away. Do you like this distance? Look at your score. You know your limit and can estimate what you need to do for next time, to go on foot or not? Maybe you can make more steps and go over your set limit.
- Decide how many steps you want to walk. Keep checking as you proceed, several times, to see the distance you have covered. Change your route when you expect to make too little or too many steps.
- Consider other possibilities that suit you.
